Royal Canin Veterinary Diet Feline Renal Support A dry is a high energy and highly digestible diet for cats that has been formulated with low protein and low phosphorus levels. Enriched with a blend of antioxidants to help maintain a healthy immune system and to reduce DNA damage associated with cell aging. Enriched with long chain omega-3 fatty acids, eicosapentaenoic acid and docosahexaenoic acid (EPA and DHA), to help modulate inflammatory reactions. That diet is being discontinued and replaced by Renal Support-A Feline dry. Some pets may need help in switching to an updated pet food formula. To make the transition easy on your pets digestive system, mix their current Prescription Renal dry with the new Renal Support dry. Over 7-10 days, gradually decrease the amount of the current Prescription Renal dry while increasing the amount of Renal Support dry. For some pets, the transition may take slightly longer.
