Uses Optimmune Ophthalmic Ointment contains cyclosporine as the active ingredient. Optimmune Ophthalmic Ointment is indicated for the treatment of chronic keratoconjunctivitis sicca (KCS) and chronic superficial keratitis (CSK) for dogs. Cautions Optimmune Ophthalmic Ointment is contraindicated in animals with a history of an allergic reaction to cyclosporine. Do not use this medication if your pet has any other type of eye infection. Keep out of reach of children. How to use Optimmune is for ophthalmic use in dogs only. Apply this medication to your pet as directed by the veterinarian and follow the instructions on manufacturer’s packaging.
