This unique Nail File is designed to be used specifically and only on the nails of a dog’s front paws. These tend to be a lot more problematic – growing faster than the back nails and not getting worn down as much through walking and running. Invented and made in Australia, it is made of high quality poly-carbonate and stainless steel. The body of the file is BLUE and the abrasive plates are silver in color. The abrasive plates (the actual file) are made of stainless steel and are long-lasting. They are removable and can be washed. Please note: if your dog’s nails are extremely long and are curling under or distorted in shape, they will first need to be trimmed to a better shape by a vet, before using the file. Also note that the dew claws will not be filed by this file, as they are located too far up the dog’s legs.
