Show fungal infections who’s boss with Mardel Maracyn Oxy. Maracyn Oxy fights fungus caused by Saprolegnia, icthyosporidium, egg fungus and many other common bacterial infections. This medication has also shown to be effective against certain gram-negative, and gram-positive bacteria. It is recommended to treat infected fish is a separate quarantine tank, and to make sure the water quality levels are adequate before starting treatment. Use 1/2 capful (2.5 mL) per 10 gallons of water. Repeat as needed for not more than 5 days. Increase tank aeration during treatment to ensure a proper oxygen supply for sick fish. Switch off UV sterilizers during treatment. If fish exhibit signs of distress neutralize the medication by using an aquarium de-chlorinator.
