Nemex-2 treats and removes large roundworms and hookworms in dogs and puppies. Roundworms are the most common parasitic worm found inside a dog, and almost all dogs become infected with them at some time in their life, usually as puppies. Roundworms live in a dog’s intestines, and while many dogs have no signs of infection, those with major infections, especially puppies will show diarrhea, vomiting, dull hair, weight loss and a potbellied appearance. To best handle this situation when it arises, make sure to keep your dog’s living area clean and treat your dog with this oral solution immediately and have a follow-up fecal exam within 2-4 weeks after treatment.
