Fluval FX6 canister filter is a compact, super capacity filter that processes and circulates 563 US gallons every hour to keep habitats, up to 400 gallons in size, cleaner and healthier. FX6 has an astounding media capacity that allows you to place up to 5.9 liters of media in a removable stack of precision-engineered baskets for multistage filtration. These baskets eliminate water by-pass, making filtration more efficient and can be stacked in the precise combination of layers that will work best for your aquarium. Each basket is lined with a foam insert for effective mechanical pre-filtering. Instant-release T-handles let you lift and separate the baskets quickly and easily, making routine maintenance easy. Fluval FX6 also features Smart Pump Technology for optimal filter performance. An electronic circuit board continually monitors the pump and measures impeller speed and force to ensure powerful output and efficiency. The FX6 circuit board also control’s the filter’s self-start and air evacuation features. The pump pauses every 12 hours to allow trapped air to escape to ensure constant efficiency. Fluval FX6 measures 21 inches high and fits under most aquariums. Multi-directional Output Nozzles can be adjusted to create specific water flows and a heavy-duty anti-clog telescopic strainer ensures continuous flow. Click-Fit AquaStop Valves are positioned at 45 degree angles and rotate for easy installation, so set-up is fast and maintenance is mess free. Monthly maintenance indicator reminds you when you last performed maintenance or water change to keep you on a regular routine.
